How do I get assistance?

ACTS is a closed referral system. You will need to get a referral from one of our 60+ nonprofit/congregational partners throughout the greater Richmond area.

How do I apply for the Richmond City MetroCare Water program?

For Richmond City residents who is experience a crisis and has a household income of 225% of the federal poverty line can apply for the MetroCare Water program. Please call 804-644-2401 and follow prompts. Please leave a message with your name, phone number, short message regarding your situation.

How does my Organization/Congregation become a referring partner?

If your organization is interested in becoming a referring partner, contact Hana Yun., hyun@actsrva.org.

How do I become a Donor?

Donate online: Help prevent evictions in the Greater Richmond area by making a donation immediately. You can also schedule a recurring gift! All credit card donations are processed through Paypal. Give now.

Honor someone: Honor a wonderful person, celebrate a special occasion, or memorialize a loved one.

Mail Your Gift: Consider a single or multi-year commitment to make a significant impact to fight homelessness in our community.  Gifts may be sent to 1518 Willow Lawn Drive, Suite 201, Richmond, VA  23230. Please include a return address with your gift.

Charitable IRA Rollovers:  When you choose to make a gift from your IRA account, the distribution is transmitted directly to ACTS. The total you distribute in this manner, to ACTS and all other charitable organizations cannot exceed $100,000 in a given calendar year. These gifts reduce your taxable income, satisfy your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and allow you to avoids taxes on rollover distributions of up to $100,000 annually.
